Naps aren’t forever. It’s a sad, sad fact. Some children stop as early as 2 years old, and some not until they are four. However, it is not a contest. Your body does what it needs to do and every child's body is different. When a child's brain is done wiring during nap-time, the brain is just more interested in being awake. Rest time is still a good idea though. Keep the nap slot in the schedule and see if a little quiet time works instead.
