Limit your limits. It’s hard for your child to figure out the rules if there are too many of them and you aren’t consistent about enforcing them. Little people need just a few rules to remember. When picking those rules, many should revolve around safety since your toddler has no radar for danger. Once you pick your house rules, stick to them as often as you can. If climbing on the couch is not allowed make it ALWAYS not allowed. The consistency will help your child remember the rules and follow them.
