Are You Asking Too Much Of Your Child?
Make sure you have realistic expectations about what your child can manage in any given day. Did you spend the morning doing errands with your child, getting in and out of the car? Maybe skip lunch then at the fun (but noisy) neighborhood restaurant. Sometimes it just isn’t fair to expect our children to stay calm and regulated when they are tired and over-stimulated. If you can’t change your child’s behavior, then change the environment.
