Every family has its own culture and that is to be treasured and cultivated. How your children are put to sleep each night, what the family eats for breakfast on Saturdays, family dinners, movie nights, children sleeping over in each other’s rooms, songs you make up, all of the things that make your family yours play a role in your families culture. Having rituals for a child has a great influence on their identity. Being a part of something bigger than them self, gives your child a strong sense of who they are and where they belong in a busy, complicated world. Continue to create family traditions, big and small!
